A filtration system is needed to balance the ponds ecosystem. This filtration system must match both the power of the pump and the volume of the water garden. This particular Bio-Filter cleans ponds up to 1000 gallons. It is recommended for use with pond pumps capable of pumping water from 850 to 1250 gallons per hour.
